After 48 years, the LGBT celebration makes history
This June the New York City Pride March will be televised for the first time ever on ABC's regional channel WABC-TV as well as livestreamed on abc7nyc.com.
The historic celebration will mark the 48th official Pride March, where people from around the globe will come to New York for to celebrate and promote LGBT rights. Throughout the month the city honors Pride with events, special club nights and parties.
The network, which will air the milestone programming from 12:00PM to 3:00PM EST, also plans to cover PrideFest, the Pride Luminaries Brunch, the Rally and Pride Island Music Festival.
