This minimalist record player has removed the external needle
It can also be hung up on the wall like a painting
For the ultimate minimalist, a new brand called Wheel has introduced the record player of your dreams.
It doesn't look much like a traditional record player as the design of Wheel has emphasized simplicity, removing all external extremities of the tool besides the record itself.
Wheel explains that the record is still able to play due to their "invisible" needle which plays from under the record, offering an unobstructed view of the vinyl. Another unique feature of Wheel is that with the new design, owners are able to use the device both horizontally or vertically, allowing it to be hung up on the wall as functional decor.
At retail, Wheel is slated to cost $850 / £806, but those who pledge to the Kickstarter are eligible for a 30% discount.
