There's a play about UK garage touring the UK
With a little bit of luck, you can make it through the show...
UK garage: coming to a theatre near you.
With A Little Bit Of Luck, similarly titled to DJ Luck & MC Neat's 1999 banger, is a play by British-Egyptian writer Sabrina Mahfouz which looks at "the legacy of a cultural movement that defined the hopes of a generation".
It's set in 2001, after the genre had broken into the UK charts, and follows a raver called Nadia, with an on-stage DJ spinning UK garage classics throughout.
Debuted at Latitude Festival last year, it's already visited a few UK theatres this year, with it running through to June when it finishes at The Roundhouse in London.
