The Scumfrog

It's great to see the return of Scumfrog.

He was responsible for loads of great tracks in the early noughties, not to mention remixing Kylie and Missy Elliot plus collaborating with David Bowie, Cyndi Lauper and Sting, resulting in a Grammy – so it's fair to say he knows his way around a studio.

Now, Hot Since 82 has got him on board his 'Knee Deep In Sound' label with a great, chugging anthem that suggests sunnier climes. The original is amazing with a catchy vocal, meandering bassline, active percussion and a solid drum workout.

Mendo ups the pressure to make it a main-roomer or festival anthem. Get Physical's Fabio Giannelli moves things in a more techno direction with his driving remix.

All in all, a solid return from The Scumfrog.
