The Prodigy top UK album chart
Sixth studio album 'The Day Is My Enemy' enters the chart at number one
The Prodigy's sixth studio album 'The Day Is My Enemy' has propelled its way straight to the number one spot as it entered the UK albums chart over the weekend.
Sales could have been boosted from projections of the album art in London last week.
It's the bands sixth consecutive number one album following 1994 release 'Music For The Jilted Generation' and their first LP effort since 'Invaders Must Die' in 2009.
In the lead up to its release, Liam Howlett stated the new album would "wipe the floor" with the current crop of dance DJs.
The band's UK tour with latest album starts in May.
