The Prodigy on retirement: "It's got to be soon"

Keith Flint cited age as a reason that would bring the band to an end

The Prodigy reckon the band could "soon" come to an end.

Not long after releasing latest album 'The Day Is My Enemy', vocalist Keith Flint spoke to NME and said age would be a factor in calling time after almost 25 years since their debut.

"I think that the band's gonna come to an end at some point. And it's got to be soon. It will end before we want it to because of the realities of age. There comes a point where you don't want to be Uncle Alan at the wedding reception."

Don't worry too much, though, because Keith says, despite it being they first time they've spoke about it, no dates have been set and "the people decide when we fuck off."

They recently proved that they've still got it as well, topping the UK album chart at the beginning of the month.
