The Meadows Festival is bringing Kanye West, Grimes and Chromeo to NYC
The inaugural installment from Governors Ball producers
Founder's Entertainment, creators of Governors Ball, announced the arrival of a spin-off festival called The Meadows earlier this year. The Meadows will take place in early October at Queen's Flushing Meadows Corona Park.
With the event's new line-up announcement, its inaugural fall spectacle may be just as big - or even bigger - than Governors Ball. At the top of the bill is Kanye West (pictured), whose Gov Ball performance earlier this month was cancelled due to severe weather. Also on the roster are names like Grimes, The Weeknd, Chromeo, Pusha T, Twin Shadow, Chance the Rapper and many more.
The two-day event will feature local artists, food vendors and run from morning until just after sundown. The Meadows Festival takes place on October 1 and 2.
