Chris Martinez, one half of sibling DJ and production duo The Martinez Brothers, is stepping back from touring to focus on his “health and wellness”.

In an Instagram story shared yesterday (October 16), Chris' brother, Stevie Jr., explained that he will be “holding it down” at shows over the coming months as Chris takes some time away.

“My brother is choosing to take some time off from touring to focus on his health and wellness. It's a move I'm incredibly proud of him for making,” Stevie said.

“After almost 20 years of going non-stop, we’ve learned that real strength isn’t just about the grind – it’s knowing when to step back and recharge for the long run.”

Stevie also added that the decision was made to ensure they “come back stronger than ever”, and hope to make 2026 “our best year yet,” he said.

“Our creative vision is clear as ever, and we’re always building for what’s next,” he said. “I promise to channel all the energy and vibes you expect from us at every single show.”

The Martinez Brothers typically perform multiple shows each weekend across the globe, and held down a Tuesday night residency at Hï Ibiza throughout the summer season.

So far, the only listed upcoming shows the duo are scheduled to perform include an event in California on Halloween, and a booking at Réveillon Carneiros in Brazil on December 26.

“Thank you for being on this journey with us,” Stevie writes. “Your loyalty, friendship, and love are what makes it all possible. See you on the dancefloor.”
