Having had previous releases on Futureboogie, Wolf Music, and Dark Energy to name but a few, Cape Town's Terence Pearce now becomes the latest edition to the Fina roster. The title track grows with eerie pads resonating atop of a bumping bass line. With muted strings acting as the juxtaposition to the low-end warble, this is classy stuff. When the high string kicks in it holds a positive vibe of sunnier climes. 'Come On Yah' has elements of a disco groove and moves along this playful vibe with staccato strings and off kilter chords. Out of nowhere, pick of the bunch track 'Taxi' then hits you with the beep of a horn and its live sounding beats, doors slamming, taxi hailing, techno stabs and rhodes keys. This sounds like Theo Parrish working with Claude Vonstroke. Francis Inferno Orchestra take on remixing this and smooth it into a sumptuous deep track.
