Ten Walls offers lukewarm apology for his homophobic comments
He said homosexuals are "people of other breed"
Three months after his derogatory comments about homosexuals, Lithuanian producer Ten Walls has issued a public apology.
The 'Walking With Elephants' artist caused outrage in June when a post on his Facebook page referred to homosexuals as "people of other breed". Unsurprisingly, that led to all of his bookings being cancelled, with DJs such as Midland and Optimo expressing their disbelief at what he said.
He initially apologised soon after his original comments, but now he's issued a public apology, which you can read below.
We're not quite sure why he posted the comments if they "made no sense" to him in the first place, but he does say he's involved with a project promoting positive views towards LGBTIs.
Despite his effort, we can't really see any way back for Ten Walls, real name Marijus Adomaitis, especially after a slew of negative reactions from around the dance music world, including major festivals like Creamfields.
