Feisty work from the duo's forthcoming 'Flashbulb' EP

Technimatic

Technimatic were behind one of our favourite albums of last year.

'Desire Paths' on Shogun Audio had the silky touch of 'Looking For Diversion', the bouncy, festival-friendliness of 'Night Vision' and chilled swagger of 'Mucky Jeff', pitching in for an impressive debut album following solo work as Technicolour and Komatic and releases on SGN:LTD, Spearhead and Integral Records.

They've been on a tour of Australia since and before they head to Audioriver Festival in Poland, they're releasing the 'Flashbulb' EP on Shogun.

'Dirty Hands' sees the duo enter the darkness a little, powered by a nasty bassline and accompanied with a reverberating vocal of "don't leave me". It's not all misty, though, as delicate piano chords tip-toe in the background in typically Technimatic fashion.

The 'Flashbulb' EP is released on July 10. Pre-order the vinyl here and digital here
