Team behind Bristol's Lakota to open new 220-capacity venue
Based in St. Pauls, Moon Club has been fitted out with an L-Acoustics 360° quadraphonic soundsystem
The team behind Bristol's Lakota nightclub is set to open a new, 220-capacity venue.
Moon Club is expected to launch in September and will be located in St. Paul's, Bristol, within the same Stokes Croft Brewery Building which holds Lakota — the name of the venue takes after the venue's previous one, before it was renamed to Lakota in 1989.

In an announcement shared via Instagram yesterday (July 29), the Lakota team signalled a "new era" with the standalone venue, sharing that the space will be fitted out with its "own bar, cutting-edge quadraphonic L-Acoustics 360° soundsystem, and reactive lighting design."
"This is not an add-on or a second room. Moon Club is a fully independent space with its own identity, layout, and mission," the team continues, describing the venue as "purpose-built for high-energy club nights, private events, and creative takeovers".

While Lakota has confirmed that the venue will open in "September 2025" in its Instagram post, the club's website already has a listing for an "S-Line Presents" party featuring Dunman and Dashy on September 24.
