Take a look at Roland's new DJ controller and drum machine hybrid
The DJ-505 and DJ-202 will be out later this year
Roland has teamed up with Serato again for a new range of hybrid drum machine DJ Controllers.
Combining the boutique TR-808 and TR-909 drum machines with Serato DJ controllers, the DJ-505 and DJ-202 will be out later this year.
The announcement comes off the back of last year’s DJ-808, which featured jog wheels, four channels, a step sequencer, sample pads and Roland’s drum machine sounds.
The 505 and 202 are smaller, cheaper versions of the 808. They feature two channels rather than four and will retail for around $699 and $299 respectively.
Each hybrid controller will come with the 808 and 909 drum sounds with 606 and 707 ACB generated sounds available through a soon-to-be-released firmware update.
Last week, Roland announced a Boutique version of the TR-808.
