Supreme and Nike link up for 2019 summer collection
A collaboration that channels the 90s and early 2000s Nike pieces
Supreme and Nike have dropped details and a lookbook of their retro-inspired capsule collection, ahead of its release later this week.
Reworking a handful of recognisable Nike pieces from the late 90s and early 2000s, the capsule features a water-resistant hooded jacket with matching bottoms, a hooded sweatshirt and sweatpants, a logo sweater and a nylon shoulder bag, most of which features dual-branding.
As a whole the collection is designed as a throwback, with iconic sportswear themes apparent throughout. From the nylon fabrics that became synonymous with urban culture in the late 90s, to the slightly oversized fit deliberately designed to take you back to the mid-noughties, it’s a collection re-imagined for the summer of 2019.
The Supreme x Nike 2019 summer collection will be available at Supreme’s in-store locations in London, New York, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, Paris and also its online store from May 23.
