Sugababes share tongue-in-cheek T-shirt referencing Glastonbury 2024 shutdown

Just days after the Sugababes shut down the West Holts stage at Glastonbury Festival 2024, the trio have launched a new tongue-in-cheek merch item referencing their highly-anticipated set.

Organisers were forced to halt access to the Sugababes set at West Holts on Friday (July 28) afternoon, despite many fans reportedly arrving long before they were due to perform.

This year’s Glastonbury has faced accusations surrounding its crowd mismanagement from festivalgoers with many claiming the site faced "overcrowding," due to organisers not anticipating the popularity of some pop acts.

The Sugababes have poked fun at the closure, with a new tee referencing warning signs around the field ahead of their set, with the slogan: “West Holts Full, Seek Alternatives” printed on the front.

After their performance, the three shared a statement on Instagram including an image of the stage signs. They share: “We’re still on cloud 9 from yesterday!”

The Sugababes claim this was the “biggest” crowd at West Holts ever which reportedly has a capacity of 35,000 festival goers.

The new T-shirt comes in the colour red and not only features the tongue-in-cheek slogan but also a collage of the original - and now current - members of the girl band.

The top will be in stock for one week only and is available to pre-order now via the Sugababes’ official website.
