Steve Aoki cancels performances because of vocal cord damage

He's undergoing surgery in the next few weeks

Bad news if you were planning on seeing Steve Aoki in Europe in the next few weeks. He's cancelled a load of performances because he's damaged his vocal cords.

The Dim Mak boss posted a video on Facebook to "regretfully" announce he wouldn't be able to perform in Ibiza, Holland and the UK in the coming weeks because of surgery.

His voice is audibly hoarse in the three-minute video and if you've got the stomach for it, you can see the damage he's done to his cords from 20 years of "screaming" during performances at about one minute in.
