After a nearly two-year hiatus, Prince’s back catalogue is back on streaming services worldwide to the delight of fans.
Since Spotify was given the green light to stream his vast discography on February 12, the Purple One’s profile has already amassed over 1.5 million monthly listeners and nearly a million followers.
Prince’s music was taken down from all online streaming services except for the Jay Z-owned Tidal in 2015 at the request of the artist’s publisher. He passed away on April 21 last year.
Now that his tunes can be easily accessed and appreciated by the next generation, it seems like a time to celebrate. You won’t find ‘Purple Rain’ or ‘Sometimes It Snows In April’ here, instead we’ve compiled the tracks that will get you grooving like a ‘Sexy M.F’.
