Spotify playlist: 50 overlooked classics revealing the diverse range of house
Glenn Underground, Mood II Swing, DeWalta, Phil Weeks and more
Back once again with another stacked update of our ever-evolving Overlooked Classics playlist on Spotify, this time digging into all corners of house from minimal, soulful and jacking.
Leading things off is a sensual, funk-fueled house ballad from Alex Gopher titled 'Super Disco'. Originally released in 1997 on Disques Solid, the imprint Gopher co-founded with Etienne De Crécy and Pierre-Michel Levallois, the track has been long overlooked, yet still sounds as fresh as ever today.
With more tracks from Glenn Underground, Mood II Swing, DeWalta and Phil Weeks, there's a diverse range of styles presented in the recent update, all with strong dancefloor appeal. This classic collection joins other timeless gems previously added, including tracks by Aphrohead, Paul Woolford, Anja Schneider, Cab Drivers and Fred Everything, among others.
Follow the playlist on Spotify to stay connected and be sure to check back for weekly updates occurring every Thursday.
