Spotify playlist: 10 techno tracks selected by Robert Hood
The kingpin picks out his techno essentials
Our new Pioneer series, which celebrates the careers of visionary artists, kicked off with Robert Hood and, as well as having an in-depth chat with us, the Detroit icon compiled a playlist of his top 10 techno tracks.
The selector kicks things off with his track ‘Thought Process', taken from his ‘Paradygm Shift’ LP, and the playlist also features other productions of his including ‘Lockers’, ‘Master Jack’ and a remix of ‘Walfisch’, which he released with Roman Poncet back in 2014.
There are also tracks from Gary Beck, Debra Debs, Slam, Mark Broom, Mr. G, Ben Sims and Kirk Degiorgio, before ending on ‘Let The Church’, produced by Hood and his daughter, Lyric, as part of their Floorplan project.
