The Lab LDN is Mixmag and Smirnoff Sound Collective's weekly live stream, powered by Void Acoustics, where we showcase the finest DJs direct from our world famous office party.
This week Space Dimension Controller aka Jack Hamill touches down in our office to spin a set of out of this world jams. Anyone who’s caught a SDC set before will know how invigorating his selection is, comprising everything from Aphex Twin deep cuts to Star Wars theme remixes via trance classics.
His own productions incorporate elements from a broad spectrum of influences spanning electro to funk, resulting in irresistible dancefloor movers which have been picked up for release by the likes of R&S and Clone Royal Oak.
Hamill’s next project sees him revisit youthful years spent watching sci-fi films and listening to IDM and ambient in his bedroom for an album on Ninja Tune, due May 27. This week's Lab kicks off at 5pm BST and you can tune in below or on MixmagTV.
