Twitter wants Stormzy as next prime minister
The push for #Stormzy2020 begins
Following the resignation of David Cameron, the UK is awaiting a leadership battle to commence for the country's top job.
Amidst the poltical infighting rife throughout Westminster at the moment, one candidate is gaining increasing momentum as the people's choice - Stormzy.
This was the tweet from Stormzy that set it all off:
How many retweets do I need to become prime minister

At nearly 80,000 retweets and counting, grassroots support for the grime artist is evident. Now all he needs to pull it off is to convince a few more million members of the public and obtain a party nomination. The following tweet and Stormzy's response beneath suggests he may well have got his foot in the door for the latter...
Corbyn's team pledge to fill all open shadow cabinet positions today and promise to include some "surprising names".
