Anfisa Letyago takes the helm of the first release on the sub-label

​Sony Music launches new techno-focused imprint, noted. records

Sony Music Entertainment Germany has launched a brand new techno-focused sub-label, noted. records.

The imprint was unveiled by Sony on Friday (April 26), alongside an announcement of its first signee, Napoli-based DJ and producer Anfisa Letyago.

noted. records is yet to confirm its artist roster, though a statement from Sony detailed that the imprint will house "global electronic music" with a focus on "techno culture" – pledging its commitment to "amplifying voices of emerging artists".

The Berlin-based sub-label provides resources to artists, producers, and writers, and hopes to connect a “wide network” of musicians, of which is yet to be announced.

“Electronic music as a genre has never been as potent as it is today,” says Sony Music’s Jean-Sebastien Permal, who will take the lead on noted. records. “We recognized the need to provide a home for artists with a strong and unique musical and visual identity.”

The first release on the imprint comes from Anfisa Letyago with her brand new single ‘Feelin’’, a techno cut featuring her own vocals. Check it out below.

“I feel the groove of ‘Feelin'’ commands the dancefloor, while its beat carries a hint of darkness, creating a trance-like embrace," Anfisa says on the new single.

'Feelin'' marks the first release of a forthcoming record from the techno artist, with more details yet to be announced.
