Sónar festival announces full line-up for 2022 event

Sónar festival has just revealed its full line-up for its 2022 event, due to take place in Barcelona from June 16 to June 18.

Some of the biggest names in dance music can be seen in this stellar line-up, and it includes Jennifer Cardini b2b Perel, Anfisa Letyago and Paranoid London.

There will also be sets by South Africa’s Scorpion Kings, Australia’s Partiboi69 and a legendary b2b from British South Asian icons Yung Singh and SUCHI. These DJs will all be joined by Angolese vocalist Pongo.

With Ylia and the 40-piece band "La Valenciana," Nio de Elche unveils his new project "Concert de msika festera"; Catalan pair Maria Arnal i Marcel Bagés will use Artificial Intelligence to enhance the sound of a choir, and Spanish queer superstar Samantha Hudson debuts a new "variety show."

Sónar+D expands to additional venues, occupying the full Palau de Congressos and presenting new forms on the Sónargora and +D stages. This new space will be dedicated to high-definition audiovisual presentations as well as hybrid conference/concert performances.

Lots of new local DJs, including AWWZ, Albal b2b Rocio, and Umami b2b CRKS290, among others, will boast the current Spanish club scene's liveliness at the Barcelona festival.

In November the festival announced that fans can expect Bonobo, Overmono, Coucou Chloe, Princess Nokia, Eris Drew b2b Octo Octa, LSDXOXO live, Jayda G, and more.
