Austria's Snowbombing festival is taking place once again in the awe-inspiring location of alpine town Mayrhofen between April 4 – 9.
Snowbombing was featured as one of our 'Ten Breathtaking Festival Locations', with the enchanting mix of snow-capped forests, luxury lodgings, and raucous clubs combining to offer one of the most uniquely exciting parties in Europe.
Where else can you ski through the day and watch world class DJs tear it up in a mountaintop igloo 6,000 feet above sea level by night?
A host of the world's best dance acts will descend upon the stunning site for the week long party in the snow, performing in venues as varied as forest clearings to Austrian barns, ensuring an atmosphere like no other.
Line up details remain under wraps for now, but going by previous year's rosters it's certain to be massive.
2015 saw Skrillex, Rudimental, Basement Jaxx, Carl Cox and Fatboy Slim headline the bill that featured quality from top to bottom. Jackmaster, Heidi, 2MANYDJS and Job Jobse further represent a mere fraction of the names that caused chaos in the Alps. Previous years have seen acts as diverse as The Prodigy and Kasabian delighting revelers.
Mixmag will be hosting a stage takeover at the festival, promising to bring some serious heat to the winter wonderland surroundings.
Tickets are on sale now here, with prices starting at £249+bf per person for five nights of accommodation and the festival wristband. Options range from cosy self-catered apartments to four and five star spa hotels offering the pinnacle of festival luxury.
