Snoop Dogg now holds the world record for the largest gin and juice
Rollin down the street, smokin' indo, sippin' on...
Hip hop artist Snoop Dogg made history with his signature gin and juice yesterday by mixing up the largest paradise cocktail, according to the Guiness Book of World Records.
Taking place at the BottleRock Napa Valley music festival over the weekend, Snoop took to the stage alongside West Coast rapper Warren G and Top Chef Season 6 winner Michael Voltaggio.
Along with Williams Sonoma to make it all come together, the artists and chef mixed 180 bottles of Hendricks gin, 154 bottles of apricot brandy and 38 3.78 litre jugs of orange juice to create the giant cocktail. To complete the drink, it was topped with a pineapple and melon on a sword along with a giant drinking straw and pink parasol umbrella.
According to Guinness the cocktail measured at 132 gallons.
Snoop Dogg gained fame back in 1994 with the release of his track ‘Gin and Juice’ via his debut album 'Doggystyle'. It was the second single off the album and peaked at number eight on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US.
