Slackk
The Liverpudlian delivers the goods on his R&S Records debut
London-based, Liverpool-born producer Slackk's a real grafter, so a release on R&S Records is fully deserved.
The list of labels he's already released on is pretty tidy, from Numbers with debut EP 'Theme' to two bits on DJ Haus' on Unknown To The Unknown and an album on Local Action. Each and every time you're guaranteed something spanking and he's up there with the best for vibrant and wobbly grime instrumentals.
On top of making tunes he's one of four founders of London party Boxed and heads up Sulk, currently on its third release after EPs from Major Grave, Sirpixalot and JT The Goon.
Back to Slackk's 'Backwards Light' EP on R&S, he's dishing up six sizzling sucker punch cuts. We're premiering 'Posrednik' and what you get is a load of bounce, piercing bleeps and fidgety synth work to cause delightful devastation.
The 'Backwards Light' EP is out on June 1. Pre-order it here
