Following the success of last years ON AIR series for Air Max Day, sportswear giants Nike, haS returned with a second series of creative workshops that celebrates the all-might Air Max styles.
The new experience gives young Londoners the chance to create their own iteration of one of ten Air Max silhouettes during a design session, which will be featured on the global Nike: ON AIR voting platform, which will allow the world to decide which design best represents the city.
Alongside the public, a slew of Industry leaders who will feature on the judging panel, including Mercury prize winning grime artist and Nike collaborator Skepta, alongside Nike Senior Designe Director Nate Jobe, who worked with both Skepta on the 97 and recent Louis Vuitton Mens Artistic Director Virgil Abloh on ‘The Ten’; VP Creative Director of Colour Design Courtney Dailey and designer Alexandra Hackett, who took part in the Nike Sportswear ‘Vote Forward’ project in 2017.
The designer of the winning Air Max will travel to the Nike campus in Oregon to meet members of the production team and work with them in turning their product into reality.
