Skepta is playing a gig in aid of homelessness next week
The MC headlines Islington Assembly Hall in North London on April 4
Skepta has announced a show at Islington Assembly Hall in London, with all proceeds going to housing and homelessness charity Shelter.
The Tottenham grime artist will be joined by special guests on April 4 and he's outlined his excitement at playing the show.
He said: "I’m happy to hear the people at Shelter want me to play a show there, I am a man of the people and I can't wait to touch down."
Graeme Brown of Shelter added: “We’re delighted to have Skepta’s support and this is a great way for his fans to enjoy an exclusive performance while also supporting Shelter.
"Every penny raised from this very special gig will help Shelter to be there for more people and to ensure that no-one has to fight bad housing or homelessness on their own.”
People can apply for tickets, priced at £40, via a ballot which is open until 10am on March 30.
