SITA shares debut EP, 'Generacion XDISIS'

Sita Abellán - DJ, stylist and now producer - has shared her first ever body of work under new alias, SITA.

'Generacion XDISIS' is available now via Héctor Oaks’ label KAOS, comprising of four club-focused tracks which explore ideas of mutation, evolution and shedding skin. On a personal note, this translates as moving from DJ to producer, "club kid to having kids", and tapping into a new level of creativity.

Its sound draws inspiration from 2000s Eurohouse, the post-Franco Spanish techno Ruta Del Bakalao era in ‘90s Valencia, Belgian new beat from the ‘80s and modern Berlin techno.

“This EP represents for me an artistic evolution, a journey into the deepest parts of my being," she explains. "It's about sharing myself through my music, authentic communication, and a manifestation of my ever-evolving best self.”

The record's release follows a busy period for SITA; she launched her LGBTQ+ focussed techno party OUTOPIA in 2023, played across festivals and a handful of clubs in Ibiza, and worked with Héctor Oaks on his debut album.
