British house and techno purveyor drops into the Lab LA
The Lab LA is our weekly post-work party where we stream the best American and International DJs from a secret location in Hollywood. This week we have Silky bringing us some true house sounds.
Mentored by house godfather Frankie Knuckles, Silky is an underground artist ready to blow up in 2015. He's known for his emphasis on technique and deep crate digging, as well as his extensive touring which has seen him throw down in some of the biggest clubs in the world, including Watergate in Berlin, Output in New York, Spy Bar in Chicago and most recently at The BPM Festival in Mexico.
As a producer, Silky has put out tracks on My Favorite Robot, OFF and Lucidflow. His disCerN project with Jonny Cruz has released on Culprit and Touch Of Class records. His own imprint Faceless has already seen drops from Bambook, Chaim and more.
