Shed brings ‘The Final Experiment’ album to Monkeytown Records
An eclectic batch of techno-leaning material
German techno producer Shed has announced his first album in five years, titled ‘The Final Experiment’, will land on Monkeytown Records.
With three albums to his name, Shed’s built up a reputation for defying genre boundaries while delivering an underlying techno motif. That said, ‘The Final Experiment’ will see him align with similar material from the likes of Ryuichi Sakamoto, Brian Eno and Carsten Nicolai.
To coincide with the album’s release, Shed has also developed a unique visual component with Berlin based artist collective Transforma. Live A/V gigs have been announced for the Pickle Factory in London and Ohm in Berlin.
‘The Final Experiment’ is set for release on March 10.
