Shanti Celeste has set up a new label titled Peach Discs. It’s the second imprint she’s founded, also having a hand in the brstl label alongside Chris Farrell of Idle Hands, the Bristol record shop Shanti formerly worked in.

Speaking about the project, she said: "I want to release music that makes me happy, and build a little family with all my friends and friends of friends who I know are making great music. I also want this to eventually be my main home for releases."

It also looks like Peach Discs could be giving Hessle Audio a run for its money in the releasing mononymous male named production outfits stakes, with Shanti adding: "In the future there will be releases by a new Bristol duo called Fred and a 12” by Samuel, as well as many others."

The first outing on Peach Discs will be an untitled two-track 12” featuring two new Shanti Celeste tracks, clips of which are now streaming on Rush Hour. It’s set to land on February 3.
