The Lab is our weekly office rave up where we live stream some of the biggest and best names in dance music. This week we hand control over to both Shadow Child and Ben Pearce, two of the fastest rising stars to have emerged from the UK scene in the last two years.

First up on Friday, we welcome none other than Shadow Child. Known for creating some of the finest bass-heavy house, his prolific style has already seen him called up for an Essential Mix. His 4x4 roller 'String Thing' gained instant support from the full Dirtybird crew and his track '23' was included by Flying Lotus on his radio station on Grand Theft Auto V. He released his debut LP 'Collected' at the back end of last year and you can also catch him most weeks on Rinse FM.

Playing from 5-6 will be Manchester-based producer and DJ Ben Pearce, who shot to fame after delivering his highly infections single 'What I Might Do'. Since the immense success of the single which was supported from the likes of Solomon, Pete Tong and Jamie Jones, Ben has gone on to release his 'Lego' EP, which was out last February. On top of that Ben continues to work on his own label Purp And Soul and later next month will drop his latest release on MTA records 'Predictable', a track which has seen him hook up with the trio Black Orange Juice.

This week's Lab kicks off at the usual time of 4pm and you can tune in below or on MixmagTV.
