Seth Rogen says he’s making a film about "a music festival that goes horribly wrong”
Along with The Lonely Island trio
Canadian actor and film-maker Seth Rogen hinted that he and The Lonely Island are making a film “about a musical festival that goes horribly wrong”.
Following the recent musical festival debacles, like TomorrowWorld in 2015 and Fyre Festival just last week, it’s easy to imagine what a movie about such occurrences would be like. The Pineapple Express star initially tweeted about his movie idea following the reports of the Fyre Festival fiasco.
It wasn’t long before The Lonely Island, the trio of Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone, confirmed Rogen’s reports, tweeting that they should sue Fyre Festival for stealing their idea.
Of course with comedians of this stature we can either expect this to all be a joke, or they could actually be putting together a film about a musical festival disaster. At this point only time will tell.
Read Rogen and The Lonely Island’s tweets below.
This seems like a good time to mention the movie we are making with @thelonelyisland about a music festival that goes HORRIBLY WRONG.

For real, thinking about suing #FyreFestival for stealing our idea. https://t.co/uiLxhzLg85
