Session Victim launch new vinyl-only imprint Pen & Paper
The duo plan to release four EPs across 2018
This year Session Victim, AKA Matthias Reiling and Hauke Freer celebrate 10 years of productions and performances under their esteemed alias. And now, the pair have turned their talents to a new prospect, launching a new vinyl-only label titled Pen & Paper.
With the label’s inaugural EP scheduled for a March release, three more have been lined-up for the latter part of the year. Titled ‘Puzzle’ EP, the first project features a Session Victim original track, complete with remixes from Vril and Iron Curtis.
Calling each release, “the setting to a story, a half painted canvas waiting for someone listening to dive in, wander off and let a little tale unravel”, the German duo were inspired by role playing games from the late 70s and 80s, in which players all exit the fantasy with wildly different results.
