Serato unveils new suite of FX upgrades DJ Pro 3.2.0 and DJ Lite 3.2.0

The developer claims the new, custom-built upgrades will “transform the DJ experience”

Serato unveils new suite of FX upgrades DJ Pro 3.2.0 and DJ Lite 3.2.0

Serato has announced a host of new FX upgrades for its DJ software Serato DJ Pro 3.2.0 and Serato DJ Lite 3.2.0, which have now been launched as a public beta.

The upgrades are set to “transform the DJ experience”, with measures that will, “increase versatility and creativity by offering expanded parameters, enhanced control, and seamless integration, alongside optimized performance with native Apple Silicon support.”

Some of the upgrades listed include a new suite of upgraded FX, the ability to create and save custom-built FX, new viewing modes and a redesigned FX panel, and a channel FX that can be assigned to the filter knob for controllers which don't have their own built-in FX.

Also new is the ability to, “save up to 4 Favourite FX Banks” and Native Apple Silicon support, which enables, “seamless integration and optimized performance with native Apple Silicon support for Apple M1, M2 and M3 computers.”

Serato has also announced improvements to its existing FX, including, “Infinity Tone, Spiral Echo, Stretch, Vast Reverb, Infinity Flanger, and the return of Rollout - a re-up on the Scratch Live classic.”

The upgrades mark the latest news from Serato, who last year were bought by Pioneer’s parent company AlphaTheta, following 25 years of running independently.
