For SS20, Universal Works and Sebago have linked up for a summer-ready capsule collection.

Featuring three contemporary boating shoes as well as two canvas pieces, the collaboration sees the creation of this Native American culturally inspired capsule - carrying a contemporary and creative feel combined with both simplicity and comfort.

Focussing on the Docksides label, the Portland boat shoes, which come in a straw yellow as well as white/grey and brown, have been re-mastered using the art of contrasting fabrics. The shoes are made in suede leather, featuring fringes at the base of the tongue as well as thick visible stitching.

The two new canvas shoes, one a version of the Jack slip-ons and the other, the John boating sneakers, are also from the Sebago Docksides collection.

The first including vibrant colours in homage to the weaves and patterns of blankets made by natives in New Mexico; the other produced with the “Ikat” technique - a dyeing process inherited from the pre-Columbian population of Peru.

This collection is available via both the Universal Works website and the Sebago website.
