Sankeys announces the venue for 88/89
Acid house classics are coming to Manchester
The venue for Sankey's newest and most anticipated event, Dance 88/89, has now been confirmed. It will take place at Victoria Warehouse, Manchester on Easter Sunday, 5pm-5am.
The idea of Dance 88/89 is to celebrate the original music and culture of classic underground acid house.
“Victoria Warehouse is raw, industrial and as close as you are going to get to the feeling of an illegal warehouse, except that it’s totally legal!” said Sankeys owner David Vincent.
After its Manchester debut, Sankeys will take 88/89 to Ibiza for the summer.
Kicking things off with a mammoth line-up including the likes of Marshall Jefferson, Fabio and Grooverider, Mr C, 808 State and Alfredo, 88/89 is bound to be a proper party.
