Sammy Virji, PinkPantheress and Jim Legxacy nominated for BRIT Awards 2026

The nominations for this year’s BRIT Awards have been revealed.

The annual ceremony will land in Manchester on February 28, taking over the Co-Op Live Arena for its 46th year; Artists including Olivia Dean, Lola Young, and Sam Fender take the lead on nominations, while DAVE, Fred again.., and Jim Legxacy all follow with three nominations each.

PinkPantheress, Sammy Virji, FKA twigs, Calvin Harris & Clementine Douglas, and Fred again.., Skepta and PlaqueBoyMax are all up for the Best Dance Act category this year.

Elsewhere, Little Simz, Central Cee, Dave and more received nods in the Best Hip Hop / Rap / Grime Act category, while Kwn, Sasha Keable, SAULT and more are all nominated for Best R&B Act.

Artists including Bad Bunny, Doechii, and Rosalía receive debut nominations under the International Artist Of The Year category, while Geese and Turnstile bag their first nods in the International Group category.

For the first time since 1996, Pulp also receive a nomination with a nod in the Group Of The Year category – their first at the awards ceremony in some 30 years.

“The breadth of artists nominated reflects a thriving year in music and reaffirms that British artists continue to capture imaginations across the globe,” says Stacey Tang, Chair of the 2026 BRIT Awards Committee.

“I think this list is a powerful demonstration of how vibrant and varied music is right now, with artists across different genres and generations reflecting music that is both commercially successful and has lasting cultural impact.”
