Nineteen years since its original release, 'Gabriel' by Roy Davis Jr. (pictured) has been reissued on vinyl for the first time.

The soul-oozing Peven Everett collaboration, a staple on countless garage compilations over the years, has returned to wax via American label Large Records, the label it came out on before its UK release on XL Recordings in 1997.

Four versions of the tune appear on the 12", though it's the trumpet-heavy Live Garage mix that's got the most spins since it came out in '96. Initially titled 'Gabrielle', the three other mixes of the tune are The Scroll Mix, Tamborine Dub and Words To Give By.

Grab it at Phonica and listen to it below.
