Richie Hawtin's Cntrl tour returns next month

The Minus boss and guests will visit eight college campuses in North America

Richie Hawtin's taking his CNTRL tour around United States colleges next month, joined by the likes of Chris Liebing and Matthew Dear.

Launched in 2012, this year the Minus boss and guests will visit eight campuses from April 15 to 25, hosting lectures on music and technology during the day and throwing parties at night.

Matrixxman, Dubfire, François K, Grimes, Marc Houle, Matador, Mateo Murphy, Victor Calderone, Blue Hawaii and Dantiez Saunderson will all be on rotation.

Hawtin says: "I hope that people walk away from the CNTRL tour with a deeper understanding and appreciation for the individual creativity that each artist and performer puts into their shows.

"We hope that some of the participants and fans will be inspired to take their next steps at trying their hands at their own creativity."

The Middle East in Massachusetts is the first stop on tour while it closes at the Hollywood Palladium, Los Angeles. Head to Richie Hawtin's Facebook for more information.
