Ribongia shares two tracks from upcoming album

Sydney-via-Florence producer Ribongia has shared two new tracks from his debut album, due out later this year.

Lead single 'Before The Winter' is a soulful slice of tropical-tinged electronic pop featuring Sydney vocalist Jannah Beth and South African rapper Youngsta CPT. On the flip, 'Sonder' is a darker journey that twists and turns into unexpected territory.

Speaking of the release, Ribongia said: "As summer leaves us (in Australia), we often turn to our casual squeeze on these new chilly mornings. With 'Before The Winter,' we wanted to write about the ambiguous feeling of not wanting to be tied down to anyone as well as yearning for companionship.

"Jannah and I had worked together before, so coming up with this concept was a breeze. When YoungstaCPT came in he instantly wrote a verse as an honest response to Jannah's lyrics and it made complete sense."

Ribongia's debut LP, coming out on October Records, follows several EP releases since 2014 and official remixes for What So Not and Sofi Tukker.
