After years of chilling in his kennel, Rex The Dog has made something of a miraculous comeback and it's with Kompakt as the home. His last weapon 'Sicko' has been hammered hard this summer and it's still doing the rounds now. It seems that glitchy, groove-fuelled electro still hits the sweet spot. With that being the case 'You Are A Blade' will act as the perfect follow up EP. Three more tracks of robotic jams are a joy to listen to from start to finish. 'You Are A Blade' is a trippy and glitzy banger, 'Musik Hypnotises' cuts deep with acidic, stabbing basslines and 'Wasp Factory', our pick of the bunch, is a classic electro roller. What a well groomed pooch.
