Rega has revamped its iconic Planar 3 turntable
The new and improved RP3 is out next month
Audio equipment manufacturer Rega has revealed a fresh update of its Planar 3 (or RP3 as it is commonly referred to) turntable.
The newest model will build on its high-end sonic performance while retaining the sleek, minimalist design its known for.
Only two components from the RP3’s last configuration remain, with improvements being made across the board.
A new RB330 tonearm will provide stable, almost frictionless movement to precisely gather information from your records. The turntable’s plinth, platter, sub-platter and motor have also been upgraded.
No details on pricing have been announced yet, but a release date of late March 2016 has been scheduled.
Head to Rega’s website for further information.
