Roland has announced a new mixer capable of recording a band into your phone for less than $100.

The GO:MIXER fits into the palm of the users hand and connects digitally to smartphones with a cable and contains inputs for guitars, mics and stereo keyboards.

It also features inputs for drum machines and samplers and is powered solely by the phone it is plugged into.

While the possibilities for band recording are obvious, Roland are also marketing the device to DIY music directors or vloggers who are using their phone to record video.

Ask.Audio is reporting the mixer will cost only $99.
