DJ Surplus's Soul Trader is on one this month, releasing two EPs of top notch flavours – also check the 'Our Little Secret' EP for some blissed-out gold from an under-the-radar favourite of ours, Dave Owen. Here, on the first of an 'L.T.D.' EP series, old heads Skynet and Digital pop up along with visionary US artisan Random Movement for some dark-edged dancefloor rollage. 'Chop Shop Burn' fools us with a fluttering nest of feathered breaks and funky splotches of keys, only for a scurrilously cheeky synth electrode to skewer the track, scudding along with pace and sizzle. Pepped-up dancefloor fun for heads and boppers alike.
