Printworks to celebrate Studio 54 with tribute concert
500 choir voices will sing disco, soul and funk
Printworks is celebrating the 40 year anniversary of the opening of iconic New York dance institution with a tribute concert on April 27.
500 members of London’s Some Voices contemporary choir will perform across multiple levels of the city’s best new venue, singing dynamic renditions of disco, soul and funk classics from artists such as Donna Summer and Chic.
The space will also be transformed with activities and décor spanning roller-skating, hula hooping and mirror balls in an attempt to capture the jubilant spirit of Studio 54.
