Premiere: Richy Ahmed shows us his ‘Visions’ with Kaluki Musik debut

Having played just shy of 100 gigs last year, its no surprise Richy Ahmed has been fairly quiet on the production front. In fact, you have to give him credit that he found time to release music at all.

‘Put Me In A Trance’ came out via Four Thirty Two while the ‘So Good’ EP was a return to the Hot Creations label that he's often called home. Now, he’s ready to unveil his first material of 2017.

Featuring on the ‘Smoke Signals Vol 1’ EP on Kaluki Musik alongside Pirate Copy, Francisco Allendes and Patrick Topping, ‘Visions’ sounds like something straight out of the warehouse the label was born out of. With its pulsating drums and commanding bassline, the track ebbs and flows to its own brooding pulse.

If this is just the beginning of what he’s cooking up in 2017, let’s hope he finds more time in the studio this year. Listen below.
