Premiere: Night Dives conjures up a vision of Cyperpunk club on ‘Elysia’

In a world of uncertainty, one thing we can say for sure is that whenever Infinite Machine welcomes a new artist onto its roster it definitely deserves our attention.

This time around the imprint has tapped Melbourne-based artist Night Dives, who is set to debut his self-titled EP fusing the emotive core of club music with cinematic, Cyberpunk motifs later this month.

On ‘Elysia’, the track we’re premiering today, the EP comes to a shuddering, cinematic crescendo as the sci-fi imagined synth-work intertwines with the distorted, dystopian vocals. A club track at heart, the tune is stripped back to a score-like soundscape –leaving an visceral wall of noise in its wake.

The ‘Night Dives’ EP is out October 27 on Infinite Machine.
