Premiere: Mor Elian’s ‘Echopark’ is a float through minimal acid
Incoming on Finale Sessions
Israeli artist Mor Elian splits her time living between Los Angeles and Berlin, and in line with this global presence, she’s quickly leaving a strong musical impression on the international scene.
She considers herself a DJ first and foremost, and has already played gigs across five continents since the turn of 2017. She also holds a residency on LA’s esteemed online radio station Dublab, spinning shows that take listeners through a range of diverse sounds.
As producer her star is rising. Two EPs have arrived so far via Prime Numbers and Hypercolour, exploring stripped-back, acid-flecked textures that course with subtle power.
Next up she has a three-track EP called ‘Echopark’ arriving through Finale Sessions. The title-track is encased in spacey outer textures, and throbs with deep, acidic tones at its core. Listen below.
Tracklist:
A1 The Orionids
A2 Light Pollution
B1 Echopark
'Echopark' is out via Finale Sessions on March 10, pre-order it via Juno
